Who runs this site

This site, authormary.co.uk, is run by the author Mary Gonzalez. By using the site you accept the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What this site is for

This site exists to tell you about Mary Gonzalez and her writing, and to let literary agents make an enquiry about her memoir, Mersey to the Med. It is not a shop. Nothing is sold here and no payment is ever taken here. Where you can buy her children's books, this site sends you to Amazon or to the series websites.

The manuscript

The manuscript of Mersey to the Med is unpublished work. It is offered for consideration to literary agents only.

Copyright

Everything on this site is protected by copyright. The words and the photographs are © Mary Gonzalez. Artwork from the children's books is shown here with permission and stays the copyright of the artist who drew it.

You may read the site, and link to it. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or use any of the material for training a machine learning model or any other commercial purpose without written permission. Journalists and agents who want an image or an extract should just ask.

Accuracy

Mary tries to keep this site correct and current, but it is offered as it is. Dates, counts and details about the books are given in good faith. Nothing on this site is a promise, an offer or a contract.

Links to other sites

This site links to Amazon, to izzybeaver.com and to thesitethatwas.co.uk. Those sites are not under Mary's control. A link is not an endorsement, and she is not responsible for their content, their terms or their prices.

Availability

The site is provided free of charge. It may be unavailable at times, and it may change or be withdrawn without notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Mary is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, or from your inability to use it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, because the law does not allow that to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
